"They called me Emilio and my surename is Chinarro"
Ello is his artists name.
He started as a child to draw, create. Coming from a family of artists. Father as well as his mother, a bit "crazy" but with so much love!
He does not know if it´s because of them or more for "it" that it doesn´t stop repeating to him, that believes.
So thus, he live and believe by and for "it"!
His art, neither more or less than that of anyone who knows what love is and feels it.
Design, paint and custom made tattoos and he writes, too, when he is feeling it.
Santi Graph is a Spanish designer.
His work is multidisciplinary, combining photography,
illustration, sculpture and analogical processes in
general, with digital techniques applied to
the world of communication and advertising.
Residing in Tenerife, he studied design at the
University of La Laguna.
With his work he aims to find simple and functional
solutions through the use of geometric
shapes and a modernist style. Likewise, he is in constant exploration of visual poetry and
applies it to his graphic projects in order to provide
them with various readings.
His collaborations with Montana Colors and Happy Socks stand out, as well as appearances
in digital media such as Código Nuevo, Artribune and the printed magazine Mercedes Benz Uruguay.
He has several works exhibited at CAM,
The Covid Art Museum and has been part
of the Mostra “Arte na Quarentena” in São Paulo.
Raised in La Gomera in a bohemian, artistic and very carefree environment, it made her perceive everything in an unusual way but with great sensitivity.
Her concerns made her interested in the arts in general, so she started her Fine Arts career at the ULL and although she is officially a graphic designer by profession, the field where she feels most comfortable and identified is the world of illustration applied to custom or customization of hand-painted objects.
This path started casually, seeking to apply her knowledge and creativity to everyday objects, starting to use sneakers as support for these projects.
Today she can proudly say that she is a Custom Artist, and although on a very small scale, each project is unique, large and important, and remember, everything is customizable, you just have to lose your fear.
Amalia started sewing as she started picking up strong textile materials in the leftovers, mainly of the nautical industry which were destined to be trashed.
The project was born onboard of a 35 feet classical sailboat, traveling around the Canary Islands and upcycling whatever she could find on her way into creative and unique bags and accessories.
"Sailing Kâla" is clearly about upcycling, but the core of the project is also about the creative challenge of creating (and living) from what we have available.
Self-taught sewer, "sailing Kâla"'s designs evolve every day as their creator.
